Workers’ Compensation Insurance

In almost every state, the law requires that workers’ compensation must be obtained for all employees, whether you own a family or commercial daycare. Daycare workers’ comp insurance provides coverage for accidents or disease arising from employment, as described by the law.


Do your employees have the necessary insurance?

Most benefits for the employees include lost wages, medical expenses, and permanent disfigurement/disability payments. The limitations that you can set include:

  • bodily injury by accident, which is the maximum amount that you will pay under employer’s liability for all claims arising out of any one accident; and
  • bodily injury by disease, which is the maximum amount that you will pay to any one employee for damages due to injury by disease.
